The Tank Museum at Bovington, Dorset has secured support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for a £2.1 million grant to build a 16,000 sq ft, seven-bay tank workshop and launch an apprentice training scheme. This initiative will provide young people aged 18-25 with the vital skills to get jobs as well as creating more space for the Museum to maintain its fleet. The fund will go towards a new tank restoration centre, two new exhibitions and more support for volunteers.

Equals are project managers on the new centre and provided strategic advice to help the Museum with the scheme prior to submitting their HLF bid.
