Joe Green

Joe is a highly experienced project manager with an invaluable knowledge of the construction process. He has a proven ability to work with design teams and clients; identifying and implementing practical and deliverable solutions that contribute to the effective management of project risks.

What are the key challenges that are likely to affect your sector in the next five years?

I think the general shortage of skilled trades will continue to present an ongoing challenge. The national and international targets that are coming to deal with climate change are going to force the agenda (rightly so), and this will lead to a different approach to how projects are planned and delivered.

Why did you want to become a Project Manager?

I have always loved the built environment and worked on building sites when I was younger. I started my career working for a contractor, and after many years I wanted a change to experience projects from a different perspective.

What is your favourite building and why?

Very hard to say but probably ‘La Sagrada Familia’ in Barcelona. Quite simply I was speechless when I first saw it and walked through it, so in terms of experiencing a building, it is unparalleled for me.
