A new state-of-the-art library for St Mary’s Calne, an independent school in Wiltshire, has recently opened. The new library sits in the heart of the 25 acre campus and is directly connected to the school’s much loved apple orchard, using a large glazed façade to link the internal and external.

The new building features distinct zones, with the lower floor aiming to accommodate group projects, and the upper level reserved for more formal, individual learning.

Our team helped ensure the project was delivered on time, while the school campus remained open throughout the majority of the works, ensuring minimal disruption to the ongoing running of the school.
