The new World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre at The British Museum provides the museum with 17,400m² of new, state-of-the art conservation studios and scientific laboratories, storage facilities, a collections management centre, and a new world-class special exhibitions gallery.
We provided project management as part of the client’s project team, including the role of Project Director. Other services included managing the enabling works within the existing museum to provide a series of connection spaces between the new and existing buildings; and move management services on the relocation of 200 staff into the new building.
