The Enrichment project at the National Maritime Museum has successfully completed and has created new, unified entrance spaces at the heart of the Grade I listed museum in Greenwich. The new spaces provide access to all galleries, learning spaces and commercial areas, and along with new entrances, the project has improved orientation and wayfinding to make the museum more welcoming and wayfinding more intuitive to visitors.

Equals provided cost management and contract administration services on the scheme, which also included new displays including two new video walls, interactive lecterns and the refurbishment of ‘The Streets’, a key orientation space. Objects are included in these areas and the design took into consideration conservation and lighting elements needed for their ongoing preservation.
