King’s College School Wimbledon held a topping out ceremony for their new music school a few weeks ago. We are providing project and cost management on the project, and the ceremony represented the mid point of construction and the culmination of the glue laminated timber frame.

The finished project, designed by Hopkins Architects, will have a recital room, new suite of sound-proofed practice rooms and control room along with associated offices and facilities for staff and pupils. The concert hall will accommodate an audience of 200 and a 70-piece orchestra. Construction work by Interserve began summer 2016 and the project is due to finish Q1 next year.
