Due to an expanding workload in a number of sectors we have a vacancy in our project management team.

The role

At Equals our project management service covers a spectrum of roles that can be delivered either individually or as an integrated set of inputs tailored to particular client needs. As a member of the Equals’ team, you can expect to mentor junior staff and support senior staff in a diverse range of areas, these could include:

• Client’s / Owner’s representation
• Programme management
• Project management
• Construction management
• Employer’s Agent / contract administration
• Design management
• Risk management
• Programming / Scheduling
• Procurement advice
• Project set-up consultancy
• Change management
• Project review / Turnaround project monitoring

The individual

We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced and ambitious individual to work on projects. You should be a self starter and be used to ‘looking forward’, offering our clients skilled and informed project management advice.

You will either be actively working towards a Senior PM role or comfortable in a project manager role. You should be degree qualified in a related subject with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

You will also possess or be working towards a professional qualification with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Association of Project Managers or equivalent professional body.

In addition to the above technical qualifications and experience we are particularly looking for individuals who possesses great people skills, a positive attitude to getting things done and a determination to develop rapidly within our business.

Equals is a dynamic and forward-thinking company providing cost and project management consultancy services in the construction industry. We are seeking a talented Marketing & PR Executive with a strong focus on digital marketing and public relations to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can work independently and has a passion for both digital strategies and PR initiatives.

The role

As a Marketing & PR Executive, you will play a key role in developing and executing both digital marketing strategies and PR campaigns to elevate our brand’s online presence and reputation. A self starter and able to work independently, you will collaborate closely with the technical team to manage multi-channel campaigns, enhance our public image, engage our target audience, and support business growth through effective storytelling and online promotion. You will also assist with CRM.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, SEO, and PPC channels.
  • Create, curate, and optimize digital content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Assist with PPC campaign management, ensuring high ROI and alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify digital trends and insights, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Support the planning and promotion of virtual events, webinars, and online campaigns.

 

Public Relations:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to ensure consistent and positive brand messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage media inquiries to respond appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Plan and execute PR events, launches, and media briefings both online and in-person.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align PR messaging with marketing efforts.
  • Identify and leverage PR opportunities, including awards, partnerships, and industry events, to position the company as a thought leader.

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Implement and manage a CRM system to track customer interactions, segment audiences, and automate communications.
  • Develop and implement CRM campaigns to improve customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Analyze customer data to inform personalized marketing strategies and optimize communications across channels.
  • Create and manage targeted email campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and promote new products or services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into CRM strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of CRM initiatives, adjusting approaches as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Some experience in both digital marketing and public relations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, including social media management tools, Google Analytics, and SEO/SEM strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing PR campaigns and building media relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling content and press materials.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand positioning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience in organizing and promoting events (both digital and in-person) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of digital PR tools and techniques is a plus.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field would be beneficial.
